With the final two episodes of Nextwave Online released today, all the skills that filmmakers need to make an awesome short film are out there – and we can’t wait to see what you come up with!
And what do these final episodes cover, you ask?
First up is Episode 9: Get Your Sound which covers everything you need to know to have your film sounding as great as it looks! From the fundamentals of sound, and how to layer the different building blocks, to the impact of music choices and the need to know info about recording – this episode has it all! With guest presenter Scott Collins, an award winning sound designer, you’re in great hands to level up your sound skills in this one.
And for the final episode, Episode 10: Get Your Film Seen we’ve got the whole Nextwave Team together to share some top tips for the final steps in the filmmaking process – from working with feedback, to looking after your mental health when working to a deadline, as well as how to get your film out there and continue on your filmmaking journey!
