The Screenwave International Film Festival (SWIFF) is all about bringing new film experiences to Australian audiences. The brainchild of metropolitan expat husband and wife team, Dave Horsley and Kate Howat, SWIFF has developed into a screen culture collective, connecting cinephiles and movie lovers from all walks of life. At its heart is a small, dedicated team of creatives and award-winning change-makers, helping new ideas and innovations flourish in the Coffs Coast. The Nextwave program is managed by SWIFF team members Saige Browne and Giordan Pakes.  

SWIFF presents the Nextwave Youth Film Awards hosted over during SWIFF each year in Autumn – a sell out event celebrating the best films young filmmakers across Australia.
