4 steps to enter Nextwave'21!
Hey filmmakers!
With less than a month on the clock for your Nextwave entries, we’re already seeing some absolutely stellar films in our inbox each day – you’re gonna want to be among them!
So, here’s some of the awesome prizes you’ll be competing to win at the Nextwave Youth Film Awards in 2022 – of course the best prize being the feeling of a job well done, and a short film you’ll be able to look back on with pride!
In need of a reminder on how to get your film in? It’s simple!
1. Make a film (duh!)
2. Double check you’re following the rules (under 5 mins? A Pineapple? Family Friendly? No copyrighted material?)
3. Fill out the entry form so we know everything we need about your film
4. Send us the film! (You can use Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or even post us an old fashioned USB)

Looking for a little guidance on what makes a winning film?
The Nextwave judging panel reward creativity, originality and storytelling – much more so than production value. A slick looking and sounding film is a great achievement, but always make sure that it’s all in service of a fun idea, an exciting adventure or an impactful impression.
