Haven’t heard of bcu? We started in the early ‘70s, when a group of banana growers on the NSW North Coast decided to create an alternative to the banks. Fed up with the service and rates, and just wanting a fair go, they pooled their resources and started offering loans to their colleagues. And as they say, the rest is history. 40 years on, bcu now spans from Port Macquarie to the Sunshine Coast.
While our services and products have changed over the years, we still place great importance on our customer relationships, and continue to provide a fair go banking alternative by keeping our products relevant, our fees fair and offer the little extras that many of our competitors don’t.
